Photonic school focusing on photodynamic therapy was held for three consecutive days, on October 26- 28, 2023, by the collaboration of Laser Application in Medical Sciences Research Center, the scientific, educational center of excellence of Laser Application in Medical Sciences and ACECR (The Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research, Tehran University of Medical Science) in Shohadaye- tajrish Hospital. The head of the seminar was Dr. Mohammad Reza Razzaghi, and the scientific secretary was Dr. Reza Fekrazad and Dr. Afshan Shirkavand. The seminar started with the welcome and introduction of the goals of the Laser Center and the scientific, educational center of excellence of Laser by Dr. Mohammad Reza Razzaghi and Dr. Masoud Habibi. The seminar included 22 lectures by national and international faculty members, including the principle of photodynamic therapy, as well as hot clinical topics in the different fields of medicine.

The morning and afternoon sessions were held with the presentations, along with expert discussions regarding the presented topics.
